That’s right, A Studio!
Your eyes are not deceiving you, this is in fact the start of a no doubt lengthy process, in which I build a professional photo/video studio from scratch.
I am shooting a timelapse for every session I spend in the building. I have rigged up a secure camera mounting system in the top right corner from this perspective (though it’s not there in this image).
The bracket allows me to take a camera on and off, keeping it in the same position and not altering the angle. Currently shooting a 1-2″ (Second) exposure every 5 minutes. This will allow for some very smooth motion blur, when put together in the end. Currently on day two, and going strong!
I recommend you follow me on Instgram (Link Bottom left corner), as there I will be posting some exclusive images from the progress of this whole project, as really. It’s going to take months, to even get to a stage where I can use it, let alone other people. First steps (Are baby ones) are to clear the whole place out, organize each an every item in every create, box, bag and drawer. It’s a hideously tedious process, but one that is most certainly needed.
I plan to do some video blogs of the progress also in the coming weeks as it gets cleared out. Which will also hopefully give a better perspective of the shear size of this place. Utterly stoked, and loving it so far. I just know it’s a huge investment, of time, money and mostly effort. But it will be well worth it in the long run!
